Dear LADD Employees,
Today the Governor of Michigan issued a new Executive Order 2020-21 temporarily suspending activities that are not necessary to sustain or protect life. This order must be construed broadly to prohibit in-person work that is not necessary to sustain or protect life.
All LADD employee are able to leave their homes to come to and from work per this Executive Order. LADD has provided all employees with a Critical Infrastructure Worker letter, that they should keep on them at all times while coming to and from work. You will also receive a link for the letter via Alert First Text messages
All employees of LADD Inc. are considered “Critical Infrastructure workers” and are considered necessary to sustain or protect life. For purposes of this order, workers who are necessary to sustain or protect life are defined as “critical infrastructure workers,” Workers and volunteers for businesses or operations (including both and religious and secular nonprofit organizations) that provide food, shelter, and other necessities of life for economically disadvantaged or otherwise needy individuals, individuals who need assistance as a result of this emergency, and people with disabilities; and therefore are necessary to conduct operations and whose in-person presence is necessary to allow the business or operations to continue. Critical Infrastructure workers care for minors, dependents, the elderly, persons with disabilities, or other vulnerable persons.
As a reminder we are committed to following all recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We will continue to work together as a team to keep all of the people we support and all of our employees safe throughout this National Emergency.Thank you all for ‘MAKING THE DIFFERENCE’ and being on the front line in these unprecedented times!
Thank you,
