Dear LADD Employees,
I am happy to announce that all of our front-line Direct Service Workers providing hands-on supports will be receiving $2.00 an hour for all hours worked April 1, 2020, through June 30, 2020. Although LADD Inc. has not yet received these funds, we have been promised by the State of Michigan that these funds will be coming soon.
This temporary pay increase will be on your next paycheck for all hours worked during the month of April and through the end of this payroll processing, which is May 10, 2020. The temporary pay increase is for our front-line Direct Service Workers providing “hands-on” supports and who are currently working and continue to work at LADD Inc. These funds are for actual hours worked only. These funds will be recorded separately from your base pay on your paycheck stub and will be included in your total payment. This process will continue with each payroll processing for the specified time frames above and will cover actual hours worked through June 30, 2020.
I want to personally thank all of our front-line Direct Service Workers who have continued to be committed to the most vulnerable people in our communities. You continue to amaze me with your perseverance and dedication during these challenging times. I want to recognize and applaud you for the invaluable services that you perform every day.
We are asking all employees to help stop the spread of COVID-19 by wearing your mask or face covering when providing Personal Care, and you are unable to follow the social distance requirements (Within 6 feet for more than 2 minutes). We want to remind all employees to wash your hands upon arrival to your shift, follow all cleaning protocols, and help to hold each other accountable by following all proper procedures when utilizing Personal Protective Equipment.
